Inventing on Principle

I recently had the opportunity to watch Bret Victor's "Inventing on Principle" after seeing it pop up a few different times in my daily reading. It's a great talk and has some impressive tech demos to boot, I highly recommend it.

Bret Victor's mission is to give creators a connection to their creation. Divshot is being built under the same principle. As a web developer I have always dismissed drag and drop tools as inferior, knowing that they always output awful, kludgy HTML. But what if they didn't?

Divshot's mission is to connect developers, designers, and entrepreneurs directly to the interface they're building. It's a sketching tool that gives you the ability to play and experiment without fear. You connect directly to the interface you're building, and that connection is powerful.
